Day 119

No real class to speak of but I got to go to the night shelter and do some health screenings with some class mates and upper class-men as well.  There is a lot to learn and its great experience.  I had a good time with the people there and the 3rd and 4th year students that showed up also. 

Day 118

Today we had classes on embryology in the morning and histology with a post exam review mixed in.  I argued on a question and got some points back for the class which was nice.  Then went and played basketball and caught a stray hand to the face and split my eye open .  So this evening I super glued it shut and moving along.

Day 117

Today we had class and a speaker from the company that writes our board exams come and speak.  That was the boring part of the day.  After class I went to a rehab center and had a great time there learning and getting to know people dealing and struggling with addiction. 

Day 116

OMM lecture and lab with some renal filtration for spice and a lesson on soap notes make for a long tues.  Then Dutches saved the day with a great burger an some good people.

Day 115

GI exam was fine and we wasted no time starting renal right after the exam.  its a shame but that is how it goes.  Good news is I played some b-ball with some class mates and had fun with that. 

Day 114

I did this on Sat after and MSGA team building exercise so here you go.  GI test monday!

Day 113

Today was good with class in the morning and clinical interviewing in the afternoon and then a TOMA meeting for the evening.  I really enjoyed the meeting this evening and mingling with fellow student doctors and practicing physicians as well. 

Day 112

We had some lipid and obesity lectures in the morning and then didn't get lunch due to grand rounds which was really less than  exciting today!  We then had a community resources class where abuse was the topic.  the saving grace came after class when I played some soccer after school and then home for study time.

Day 111

Well its the begining of a short week and then more tests for me then done with GI.  This class will be a rough one for most but they will end up curving it I am sure.  today was actually not a bad day at all.  A little long but overall not to bad.

Day 110

well the test was not so hot and the average wasn't good but that is how it goes.  the professor wasn't shocked and said nothing which really suprised me.  guess we will get our scores monday

Day 109

I think I said day 108 in the video cause I didn't realize.  The exam was not terrible but could have been written better but that is life.  Now its over and ready to finish this class in another few days.

More GI lecture and getting ready for this exam that is coming but the national championship football game didn't help me be super effective..... Ohh well you can't win them all eh Oregon.

Another week down and more GI next week.  Nice part was today was not to bad with only 3 lecture hours and then I played some basketball berfore studying and catching the end of the Cotton Bowl

Day 104

Today we had a 3 hour lecture on the GI physiology and how you Pooh, vomit , and fart!  wow really awesome stuff.  OK not so much but it is pretty funny to here a PHD give a lecture about it and be very proper. Don't mind my awesome hat hair!

Day 103

So the blog posting wasn't working last night so tonight I post this and another.  todays lecture of GI stuff was not too bad and then we got to open an abdominal cavity and have a look around.  a lot of stuff in there. 

Day 102

Sorry for the delay in posting these.  I thought I had but nope.  Today was more lecture and some OMM and clin med.  Then this evening I had my first MSGA meeting which I enjoyed and look forward to doing more with it.  Ohh and disregard the creepy smile in the begining of the video.

Today was a new semester and it starts with the GI.  should be a fine class more anatomy and then lab today.
